What to Expect at MSBC
What should I expect when visiting MSBC?
If you are a first time visitor to MSBC or you are considering visiting with us, please feel free to relax and enjoy your time together with us. You are welcome here and will not be singled out or volunteered.
Also as our guest, you should not feel obligated to participate in the offering. We’re just glad you are here and are blessed to be able to minister to you. You will, however, receive a visitor’s card that can be filled out and placed in the offering plate during the offering. Filling it out and getting it to us will allow us to know how we can pray for you and minister to you more effectively.
What are the services like?
Our Sunday morning service is at 10:45 am in the worship center. We want you to feel comfortable as you worship God with other believers. Our music is a blend of the latest contemporary praise songs as well as rich, traditional hymns of the faith. Sermons are expository, biblical messages that are both relevant in today’s world and straight from the Word of God.
Where do my children go?
At MSBC your child’s safety and well-being is very important to us. We have preschool and children’s ministries that allow kids to be themselves as we teach them about the love of Jesus Christ. Greeters are available to help your children find the right place and to answer any questions you may have.
What should I wear?
We want you to dress comfortably. On Sunday mornings, some people may wear suits or dresses, while others may have on something more casual. We don’t want you to worry about what you wear; we just want you to come prepared to have a great worship experience.
What should I bring?
If you have a Bible, we encourage you to bring it with you to church. This will help you follow along as we read the Word of God. If you do not have a Bible, we can provide you with one or there are Bibles in the pews you may use.
