God of All Creation

Genesis 1:1-2 & 27

1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.”

27 “So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”

You were created for a purpose. You were not created by accident, and your existence is not merely coincidence. The Creator of the universe is also the creator of you. He has designed you to be part of His great family, extending through generations around the world. You are His, made special and unique, and God wants a relationship with you!

Our life’s purpose flows from this truth. God is our Creator, and He has invited us to share His gift of redemption with everyone using the talents and creativity that He has blessed us with. Christ created all things, both seen and the unseen; and we create so that, through us, people can see Him. He created everything from nothing, and now we create with the gifts, and opportunities that He gives to us.

Whatever kind of week you have had, whether your day has gone according to plan or has been hectic and full of surprises; wherever you’ve been or are going, remember this: From the beginning of your existence, God created you and has sustained you every moment of your life. The center of your purpose and your identity is the undeniable truth that God is the Great Creator, and He has called you to use your creativity to point others to Him!

Knowing that God has created all things from nothing, and He now invites you to share in His creation, how will you use your creativity to bring others to Jesus?
